Division of Applied Physiology
Faculty in the Division of Applied Physiology study the immediate and lasting effects of exercise and its use in health promotion and in disease prevention and rehabilitation. Degree specializations include clinical exercise physiology and health fitness studies at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level a master's degree with concentrations in clinical exercise physiology and strength and conditioning is available. The mission of the Division of Applied Physiology is to expand and disseminate the body of knowledge concerning the relationships between exercise participation, physical activity and human health.
