Division of Sport Studies - [ Sport Administration - Graduate Program ]
[ Curriculum ]
The Sport Administration master's degree curriculum consists of a core of classes in such areas as sport sponsorship, sport law, sport ethics, and research methods. In addition, the program enjoys a strong relationship with other departments on campus, helping students pursue electives in management, marketing, finance, economics, communication, and more. The curriculum seeks to enhance students' skills in the areas of administration, marketing, promotion, legal aspects and risk management, ethics, economics, finance, event management, and leadership. There is also a strong emphasis on helping students learn to apply these skills in the sport industry, as all students will complete an internship prior to graduation.
