The Sport Studies undergraduate curriculum consists of a core of classes in such areas as sport sponsorship, sport administration, sport law, sport ethics, sport funding, globalization & sport, sport sociology, and event/facility management. Students in the Sport Studies program are encouraged to seek a minor in the area of either communication or business, based upon their career aspirations. There is also a strong emphasis on helping students learn to apply these skills in the sport industry, as all students will complete an internship prior to graduation. In order to be accepted into the Sport Studies concentration, a student must possess a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all college work completed.
