The Physical Education program at Mississippi State University is committed to the development of physical education teachers and coaches through the integration of theory and practice in a range of experiences and settings.
Throughout intensive academic coursework and field experiences that are combined with continuous student reflection, the goal of the program is to produce invidiuals who believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and can learn; who act on the principle that diversity is to be valued; and who are committed to the belief that physical educators providing quality instruction is crucial.
