Leyton is a first-year master's student in Exercise Physiology. He is from Ruston, LA and graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. In Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise and Physiology.

In his time with the Neuromechanics Laboratory, Leyton plans on researching lower extremity biomechanics. During summers, he will also continue working as a Bike Technician for iCan Shine which is an adapted bike camp focused on teaching people with disabilities how to ride bikes.
