Why did you choose to major in Sport Studies?
It really fits my personality. I love sports and I feel I can build a successful career within the Sport Industry.

After graduation I plan to pursue another Internship. Then want to attend Florida Coastal Law School in 2013. I want to pursue a career as a NFL/NBA Player Agent.

Why did you choose to major in Sport Studies?
I chose to major in Sport Studies because I have loved all sports and interacting with people. Teaching sports and being with students has always interested me. After taking Sports Management with Dr. Love, I was able to broaden my view of sports occupations from managing camps or ministries to being a sports journalist or possibly a sports agent. While being on the MSU Club Lacrosse board, I have learned a lot about management, marketing, sponsorships, and leadership. I will jump on any opportunity I get to receive experience.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose sport administration because I have been a sports fan my entire life. Once I left the Navy, I decided to finally turn my lifelong fandom into a career. I love talking about sports, I love watching sports, and I love being around people who love sports as much as I do. I firmly believe if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life, and in order for me to achieve such personal bliss, I knew I had to pursue a career that centered around sports 24/7/365.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
Once I receive my degree, I plan to pursue a career either in sports marketing, fan engagement, or player development and statistical analysis with a professional baseball or basketball team. My end goal career wise is to be in the front office of a thriving sports team that eventually wins a championship. Knowing my ideas and actions influenced a season culminating in a championship is a feeling I know no other experience could match.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I truly have a passion for sport and have a unique interest in how the business of sport works. Studying sport administration will allow me to fulfill my future and career goals.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
I want to work in an operations role for either a college football team, an NFL organization, or on the PGA Tour.

I am currently working in the MSU Bulldog Club as a graduate assistant. I help with all athletic development initiatives within the athletic department. Before coming to Mississippi State, I completed a one year compliance internship at Jackson State University. I am a member of the National Association for Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), and I am also involved with two other organizations under its umbrella – the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association and the National Association of Athletic Development Directors.
Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I wanted to dig deep into finding the true uniqueness of sport. Furthermore, I want to pursue a career in collegiate athletics and wanted to be educated about the career that I want to be involved in.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
I would like to continue to work in athletic development and ultimately become an athletic director.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I have been involved with sports my entire life and most recently, my experience as a Division-I collegiate student-athlete, at three separate institutions, has furthered my interest in continuing that involvement. Having been privileged to work with athletic departments that had a very positive influence on me has ignited my passion to study sport administration and better learn how to work with students and provide them with experiences as positive as those I have had.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
After graduation, I plan to work in a collegiate athletic academic department. I would like to work as an athletic academic advisor, allowing myself the opportunity to be a positive influence and support system for student athletes.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose sport administration because I want to be a part of an experience that gives its supporters an outlet. Sport allows us to forget about real world problems and gives us something to smile about. I specifically prefer campus recreation because I want to be able to help college students during a pinnacle moment in their lives and help them strive to be the best they can be.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
My aspirations following graduation are to work in campus recreation and become a professional official/umpire.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I choose to study sport administration because I like the variety of the major and its opportunities to learn more about sports in a fun and challenging environment. Also, with the skills I learn in this major I can apply them to professional sports broadcasting.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
My aspiration after graduating is to move into a sports organization and work my way up into being their announcer in some capacity. I would also be open to ESPN, FSn, and Foxsports.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I have always been passionate about and involved in athletics. My experience working as a Tutor for MSU athletes, along with my experience in Viña del Mar, Chile during the summer of 2013, inspired me to study sport administration so that I could learn how to better serve student-athletes, specifically international student-athletes, academically and socially.
What are your aspirations following graduation?

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose this field to broaden my knowledge of the business side of sport. I look forward to pursuing a graduate degree in sport administration, as it provides a chance to learn the legal, budgetary as well as social aspects of running a program. Another area of the curriculum I am greatly interested in is the speaker series, professional workshops and involvement in the Special Olympics. Being involved in the programs and lectures will provide a new insight into the administrative side of sports and create connections to help further my career.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose sport administration because I grew up around the industry with my father working in the NBA, then minor league hockey. Not only do the sports themselves interest and entertain me, but also the business behind them. Being able to use my skills and talents to bring enjoyment through sport to others is a career I dream about. Why did you choose to study sport administration?
Sport has always been an aspect of my life that I have had a strong passion and desire for. Throughout my undergraduate career I had spent a lot of time trying to find an academic avenue in graduate school that would allow me to pair two of my passions: accounting and sport. Accounting has taught me so much in regards to what a strong business looks like, and so I knew I wanted to find something that would allow me to study the business side of sport. This is what led me to find sport administration. Upon discovering that this was an option I began to do research, and I realized that this was the best opportunity for me to achieve my professional goals in the business realm of sport.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
Upon graduating from Mississippi State University with my Master’s Degree in Sport Administration, I will step into the professional realm with the necessary skills to have a successful career. My education has shown me that ultimately my best career plan would be to pursue job opportunities in the financial side of sport, and more specifically in the accounting department of a professional sport organization. This would be the best combination of all that I have learned and would set me on a path that would lead to a lot of upward mobility in that field, even opening doors to become a CFO or General Manager for a professional sport organization.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose to study sport administration in combination with business administration (MBA program) to gain a professional sense of the business and the administration of collegiate and professional athletics. I believe this sense will give me the necessary knowledge and understanding to work in a position that allows me to give back to other student athletes. It is my goal to give back to student athletes like others did for me to make my experience in collegiate athletics successful.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
Sport administration is a master’s program I chose to pursue because I want to learn the administrative side to sports. Being a student athlete for 5 years taught me how to be a coach and athlete on the field. I wanted to learn what it takes to run a sports program; what goes into sponsorships, other team’s academics, finances, and marketing. I want to learn every aspect of the administrative field.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
I want to become a college coach. I would like to begin as an assistant and handle the pitching staff. This would also include recruiting, practice plans, handling finances, etc. I would like to be at the Division 1 level eventually.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose to pursue my master’s degree in sport administration to further my knowledge and experience in the field of athletics. Since I plan to pursue a life-long career of working in athletics, obtaining my master’s degree in this field is a top priority.

I plan to pursue job opportunities outside of Mississippi State, hopefully landing somewhere out west to start. I hope to one day return to MSU as the head of the media relations department.

Why did you choose to study sport administration?
I chose to study sport administration because I realized I needed an additional degree in order to pursue my career goals.

I’m interested in fundraising for an athletic department. I believe I would also enjoy working for a company such as Learfield Sports to help bring sponsorships to college athletic events.

Health, fitness, and personal experiences have piqued my interest in rehabilitative medicine and inspired me to work towards a career in physical therapy. Why did you choose to major in CLEP?
I have always been interested in the medical field, and I shadowed professionals in several different areas of work. Why did you choose to major in CLEP?
After three years as a biological science major and medical school approaching, I had taken no human anatomy or physiology courses and was concerned about my lack of knowledge of the human body. A friend of mine majoring in Athletic Training introduced me to Dr. Lamberth who informed me of the success of previous CLEP majors with medical school aspirations. Considering I had my prerequisites for medical school completed, I took a leap of faith and decided to change from biology to CLEP and, since then, I have been overwhelmingly satisfied with the knowledge I have obtained through my coursework in Kinesiology and am here to stay.
What are your aspirations following graduation?
After graduation in December, I plan to gain more exposure to medicine through an internship or several internships throughout the spring and summer. If all goes well, I hope to be accepted to medical school where I will decide my calling in medicine. As of right now, I have no clue or plan as to where I'll be in ten years, and that's the way I like it. I'm going to school to help people, and I hope I end up where I am needed most.

I plan on attending occupational therapy school hopefully at UMC in Jackson. After obtaining a degree in OT, I would like to work in a clinical setting working with a variety of patients ranging from geriatrics to children.
