Hannah Freeman is a master’s student in the Disability Studies program. Originally from Linden, Alabama, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Neuromechanics from Mississippi State University. Hannah was a member of the Neuromechanics Laboratory as an undergraduate and now as a graduate student where she assists with various projects throughout the year. Her main interests include biomechanics and neuromechanics in special populations; more specifically she plans to research fall and slip prevention in people with disabilities. Hannah hopes to collaborate with several areas on campus such as the T.K. Martin Center and ACCESS program. Hannah’s career plans are to become an Occupational Therapist while continuing to research in her field.
