Exercise Physiology

Rhett Hood is originally from Richland, MS.  He graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree in Fall 2019. His concentration was in performance fitness and he is currently working on his master's in exercise physiology under Dr. John Eric Smith.

His research is centered around enhancing athletic performance in competition, and he plans to work with athletes either in a coaching position or as a consultant for performance enhancement after graduation.

Ian Macali is a Ph.D. student in the Exercise Physiology program. Ian completed his B.A. of corrective exercise and performance enhancement at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. He then went on to gain his M.S. of applied health science at Northwest Missouri State.
