Exercise Physiology

Kya is a first-year graduate student from Southaven, MS, pursuing her master’s in Exercise Physiology. In December 2022, she received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from The University of West Alabama. While obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she was a soccer athlete at Holmes Community College for two years and finished at West Alabama.

While completing her master’s, she plans to broaden her knowledge of the effects of exercise prescription on individuals with chorionic conditions.

Ian Macali is a Ph.D. student in the Exercise Physiology program. Ian completed his B.A. of corrective exercise and performance enhancement at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. He then went on to gain his M.S. of applied health science at Northwest Missouri State.
