Neuromechanics Laboratory represented the Department of Kinesiology

Faculty and graduate students from the Neuromechanics Laboratory represented the Department of Kinesiology at the 40th annual conference of the American Society of Biomechanics held at Raleigh, NC (August 2nd - 5th, 2016).

Faculty and graduate students from the Neuromechanics Laboratory represented the Department of Kinesiology at the 40th annual conference of the American Society of Biomechanics held at Raleigh, NC (August 2nd - 5th, 2016). A total of 5 peer-reviewed research presentations on topics involving human factors and ergonomics, biomechanics and neuromechanics were presented by both faculty (Drs. Harish Chander and Adam Knight) and graduate students (Hunter DeBusk, Chris Hill, Brandon Miller and Jeffrey Simpson). These research papers are published as two-page manuscript style publications in the annual proceedings of the American Society of Biomechanics

In addition to their research presentations, faculty and graduate students attended multiple talks, podium sessions, thematic and regular poster sessions and interacted with other leading researchers in the field of Biomechanics. The conference also offered graduate students an opportunity to see, understand and interact with national and international research vendors showcasing their state of the art biomechanics research equipment and technology.

Overall, the ASB conference was a huge success and a great way to represent the Neuromechanics Laboratory's and the Department of Kinesiology's research accomplishments. A full list of the research citations from the proceedings are provided below for reference.
