(March 23, 2023), Starkville, MS -- The Department of Kinesiology began its moves to Rice Hall and the old Music Buildings. Faculty and administrative offices will be in Rice Hall, while laboratories and some faculty offices will be in the Music Buildings. The move was precipitated by the announcement of the construction of the Jim and Thomas Duff Center, which will house the Department of Kinesiology on the first two floors and the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic on the third floor. The state of the art building will house faculty, staff and grad student offices, meeting spaces, activity space, labs, and the Department's Advising Center. The groundbreaking will take place in the Fall of 2023 with an expected completion in the Fall of 2025. For more information on the Jim and Thomas Duff Center, click here.
