The Exercise Biochemistry Lab is a support laboratory that allows researchers to explore how biochemical processes influence and respond to physical activity, exercise training and human performance. This lab is focused on assessing the biochemical samples to help with our understanding of metabolic adaptations at the cellular and molecular levels, examining factors such as energy metabolism, oxidative stress, inflammation and hormonal responses. By integrating biochemical analyses with practical applications, we aim to advance strategies for improving athletic performance, health and recovery.
